REVIEW: Innisfree’s Super Volcanic Pore Clay Mask

I may not have mentioned but I was in Korea for 9 days with my family a week ago. This gave me a lot of chance to check out korean products.

I was in Myeongdong almost every night to scout for best deals. I was amazed how low their prices are. I then learned that they have summer sale which runs from June to July.

This is not my first time in Seoul but definitely more sale this time.

I will go through and provide reviews to other Korean products I bought for myself in the next weeks, so please watch out!

I have also started my online store in Instagram:

If anyone from Philippines who is interested in buying some of my products, please let me know!! I have not updated my page yet but please stay tuned.

I will also be in Hong Kong in few weeks and will definitely grab some items from there as well then I will be back in Korea this October.

Anyway, let me start my review:

I have been searching for a good product that will help in minimizing my pores while removing blackheads and sebum on my face. Then I came across this special product of Innisfree.

I went to one of their stores and asked one of their beauty experts. She mentioned that this is one of their best sellers but it is not advisable if you have senisitive skin or if you are looking for pimple treatment because this product might not help.

It came in a fancy bottle. I was super excited to try it so I immediately read the instruction at the box. It says, apply all over face and wait for 15-20minutes then wash face with lukewarm water.

After only 5 minutes look how the mask sits on my face! You will notice all those pores immediately, it doesn’t look that nice to be honest but I can say that I feel like it is getting through my pores removing all dirt and sebum.

Then after 20minutes, I already rinsed off with water. Unfortunately I do not have an aftermath photo but I assure you how squeaky clean my face feels! I also notice more visible pores now prolly because it tried to open all my pores and remove all clogged dirt and sebum which I like.

I am thinking that it will definitely help minimize my pores once it is already clean from dirt and oil. Other than my visible pores I do not see any other significant changes but hopefully with continuous use of this product, I’ll be satisfied and will buy more this October.

By the way, although the product is just small – you will see how little product you need to cover the entire face! This mask is recommend to be used for twice a week only and I can say it may last more than three months.

This product is at 13,000 won for 100ml.

Thanks for reaching til the end! I will add more reviews as soon as I can. 😘

Enjoy the rest of the weekend, guys!

Love,

Van ❤️

Faustina’s @ UPLB

Hello There!

Welcome back to my page. ❤️

Today, I will provide a brief review on Faustina’s here at UPLB.

Their restaurant is located just beside the campus (Raymundo gate) of University of the Philippines Los Baños.

It has been in business for about 5 years now. I revisited them to check out their food as it has been more than three years since my last visit.

Their area is cozy although a bit small. I wonder how many students will fit in here. They have a lot of food choices but a bit pricier for students but definitely cheaper if you are used to eating at restaurants.

We tried one of their best sellers called Silindro ribs. It comes with barbecue sauce and spicy vinegar. We also ordered junior size alfredo with bacon although we didn’t like it that much.
Their Silindro is at 195php while their Alfredo is at 95php.

The overall ambiance is perfect for students who want to distress from school works and the likes.

I hope to be able to come back again soon!
Love,

Van

Buracai de Laiya

Hello loves,

Today I wanted to provide a brief review on one of the newest resorts in Laiya, Batangas.

Philippines celebrated Independence Day last June 12th. That means, happy long weekend for us employees. We spent two nights and three days to a resort called Buracai de Laiya.

It took us around 3-4 hours to get there from Manila. We left the house at 10AM and arrived at around 2PM. Maybe without traffic, it could be around 2-3 hours.

We used the mobile application waze to make sure that we get to the destination as the resort is a bit located at the farthest part of Laiya. Although there will be tour guides when you reach Laiya, I still recommend to check it with Waze. However, there would be areas without internet connection so I suggest for you to save your map first.

Buracai de Laiya is situated right after the more known resorts such as Aquatico and Aqua Verde which are both fully booked that time.

When we arrived at our destination, a person in the front desk asked how many people will be staying in one room, because the room that we got could only accommodate 3 adults and 1 child. We need to pay 1,500 php for every additional person beyond the allowed number of persons per room4. They also have mandatory payment of 1000php per head on top of the 7,500 room rate which we think is very unreasonable.

The 1,000php covers breakfast and dinner buffet. As per their management, it is a policy for weekend guests.

Our room is really small but the good part is it has balcony and a sea view. From there we could easily check their swimming pool and beach area.

We had our  merienda in their restaurant. They serve good food although it is a bit pricey for their serving. We do not have a choice by the way because there is no nearby restaurants or even supermarket within the area.

However, when we had our dinner buffet, we are not satisfied with their food choices as well as the food itself. We thought that we will never come back to add to our frustration that there is no mobile signal in their resort!

We survived three days without communicating to anyone though.

We love their infinity pool although it could be very crowded because they also accommodate day tours. But we did not like the beach. There were sharp stones and shells so definitely I do not encourage you to walk barefoot on the shore.

Overall, I think the price for this resort is too high given their ammenities and service. Although it could be a very good opportunity for families and friends to bond because there are less distractions. It feels like you are isolated in an island, away from social media and other stuff. You can just spend time over food, swim, or even try some beach activities. They offer snorkling, scuba diving, banana boat, flying fish, kayak, parasailing, and a lot more!

Thanks for reading!

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Cebu Pacific and Get go on another Seat Sale!!

Interesting! It seems like both Cebu Pacific Air and Get Go will have their most awaited seat sale on May 29-31, 2017!

We better hurry! When the clock strikes 12, we know what to do. Better plot those dates and where you wanted to spend your most awaited Vacation.

I’ll personally try to book one going to HK. Hopefully, I can join my family there this August.

Will provide another update later. May the odds be in your favor! 🙏🏼

P.S.

Travel date would be June 1-Dec 31, 2017.
